I am going to be listening on my run after work today. I am really waiting with bated breath, no joke this time, to hear your thoughts on Uncanny X-Men. I was going to ask if you could do an @$$terpiece theater from that issue, because the dialogue was so 90’s insipid that it would make an enjoyable listen as voiced by you guys. Although it’s only mid-January, that one gets my vote for worst comic of 2016. And re-established Cullen Bunn as the worst writer in comics. CBR just had a thing about him being “fan favorite” and the online was response was definitely the opposite.

Also if your taking any requests, have you guys reviewed Sheriff of Babylon? I thought you had, because I usually pick up on new stuff listening to the podcast, but I don’t see it listed scrolling through recent podcasts. I think it is a really amazing comic, so multi-level and humanizing to everyone. Since it’s kind of political, its usually kind of a turn off. I’d like to hear what Bug thinks of it. Politics aside, the story is really intriguing. Is Sophia the villain? Seems to be, but Im not totally sure after two issues. Anyway, its’ really good!

  3. Dan says:

I hate to be the fanboy assturd that posts a correction based on something that was misstated on the podcast, but I’m going to be that fanboy assturd.

    This is for Bug…

For the love of God, it wasn’t George Pratt that did Moon Knight and Prophet. It was Stephen Platt. Normally I would let something like that go, as the names do sound alike, but Bug kept going back to it, and by the third time, I was literally yelling at my phone, “NOOOO, GOD DAMMIT! IT WASN’T FUCKING HIM!!”

Anyway, sorry for being that guy. You guys rock.

    Dan

Greg Land is very static, but his pictures are pretty. Hitch (is that the right name, drew Forever Evil) is the same way.

Today’s podcast had really distinct POV from all three commentators and that made it especially interesting. I am surprised JD said he has 50% women because I see maybe…maybe…25% TOPS at my LCS and even though I live in LA its 50% white guys, 50% everyone who is not a white guy.

  5. “50% white guys, 50% everyone who is not a white guy” That’s what it is here in FL too.maybe even 60 40 white dudes.
