  1. Charles says:

    Nice podcast guys.

But we can dial back on the racist and homophobic jokes.

    It’s offensive.

  2. Thanks for listening Charles.None of us are racist or homophobic. But we also hold no calves sacred.

If the market is going to make a stink about a gay Lobo, we’re going to mock it. Likewise we’re going to call out a trope about black people being the first to die in horror movies if someone introduces an all black team.

We don’t pull punches man, and while we appreciate listeners we’re not going to change a formula that works for us.

We’re not homophobes or racists – just a bunch of assholes that prefer to laugh at life’s travesties.

  3. Bobby says:

I kinda dug Mighty Avengers. I don’t think they’re pandering at all; it Reminded me of a Dwayne Mcduffie book.
I think it’s interesting to see a street-level team in the midst of a cosmic event; Like that classic Spider-Man issue where he had to fight Fire-Lord, herald of Galactus, alone.
What do you think of the theory that the Spider-Hero character is actually a recently transplanted Miles Morales? That would be cool but I think it’s unlikely.
I also dug how Superior Spidey is kind of like the Professor Snape of this whole thing.
I will give it a chance and read the next issue.

  4. JD (Host) says:

Charles, if I may…what comment, specifically, did u find offensive?

  5. Aaron says:

Please do not become PG. It is a nice change of pace to hear real comic book discussions and honest reviews. How you guys said it “not dancing around the issue” is exactly what makes your podcast real and entertaining.

  6. RolandDeschain says:

Hey Chuck you ever listened to this show before? It’s always offensive homie, if it wasn’t I wouldn’t listen to these jerks. I take this back if you are being Sarcastic.

  7. Hey guys. Great show. I am sorry that one of the listeners was offended by what you did this week, but speaking as a man who is surrounded by women at work (it’s not as fun as it sounds, believe me) I enjoy the fact that you talk like dudes and not like fuckin PUSSIES. Again, I feel bad about the guy who was offended, but please don’t tone the show down, or go all PC on me. I have to watch what I say every fuckin working day, and it’s nice to have a show that says the things I am only allowed to think and never say. It’s like, I dunno, a release valve or something. So please, please, PLEASE, don’t puss out. Also, bring back the funny clips to open the show (Gilbert Godfrey reading Fifty Shades, hahaha!) and the “slapped by a hipster” intro, since they’re totally awesome.
