Boys, I love ya, but Mr. Toad was in issue one of Batman and Robin!

Justice League Dark existing in their ‘own little bubble’ is one of the reasons I’ve been buying it, although I’m behind on a few issues. If I go to catch up and it tries to force me into several dozen other issues to remain coherent, I’m out. I haven’t had the slightest bit of interest in ‘Trinity’ so far, partially because Lee’s poster art puts me off so much, but mostly because the whole ‘mixing Christian myth and artifacts prominently with superheroes thing’ is feels too goofy.

Despite my extreme aversion to crossover cash-grabs, I got mildly curious about Infinity and checked wiki. Forty-six issues to get the whole story? Guh. No thanks. I did buy Hunger, tho (I’m pretty easy for anything Galactus). On the heels of cancelling four titles I read recently, I asked myself ‘what else could they possibly do to demoralize me as a comic book reader?’ And I was answered with the implied, eventual canceling of the Ultimates universe.

Miles won’t work in the 616. Shifting *any* character to 616 is Completely Missing The Point. Ah, well. Like a broken record, I’ll just keep repeating ‘It was good while it lasted’.

‘Thick and rich’, ‘well done, son’, and ‘convoluted’ made me laugh.

curse you @andy! You are correct! I totally don’t remember him in B&R!!

    derps!

@pink: 46 ISSUES! whaaaa? Holy stuff!

agreed with the Miles bit. I like the Ultimate U! Don’t Kill It!!

@ghostmann, thanks for the heads up! I’m glad I didn’t have to go back and re-read the Flashpoint series for this answer!! lol

  5. Mazer Rackham says:

Still listening every week, guys. Catching up on some canon via the Marvel Comics app. Still confused, but mildly less so.

  6. Tigger11 says:

Anyone read the new Vertigo title Collider this week? I realize if it has an X or Vertigo on it I am really likely to buy it, but I thought it was a really interesting first issue and think I’ll probably put it on my pull list.
