  1. Rob Truthfeld says:

So after they fucked the girl in the wheel chair, did she have an athortion?

  2. Of course not, midgets are sterile.

  3. Tigger11 says:

Guys kind of blew the response to my email. Not one of you knew Gaiman is cowriting GotG starting with #5 (ie this month)? I mean even skipping all the Marvel self promoting press releases since March, its been covered on a whole lot of sites, and I would have thought JD would have ordered alot more issue #5 then he did #4. All our shops in town are pretty sure they are going to not have enough issues for the demand. Also you kind of glossed over the whole AS2 question, implying I was making that up, then Bug finding that yes, Electro (so cool this site lets me type it just like that and not autocorrecting to electronics), Rhino, Green Goblin & Vulture are all listed in the cast, in addition we know that Felicity Jones is playing a villain, the best guess is Black Cat, I guess she could be another female villain, but it just seems that 5 villains for the movie even if some are just cameos is way too much for a single movie, especially when you add a certain bridge diving incident to the mix. In answer to Bugs question about why Machine Man and Deathlok aren’t in the Avengers AI issue, Machine Man is Red She Hulk’s sidekick in her book, and Deathlok is now part of X-Men Continuity, and if you want to know why I don’t even all of my X-Prowess combined with that of Optimus could give you an answer that would actually make sense.

  4. Matt Adler says:

I’ll be the first to ‘fess up to not knowing that Gaiman was going to be co-writing GOTG… I honestly haven’t been paying much attention to news about the book since being underwhelmed by the first issue. Though in my defense, I remember saying “Unless he’s going to be writing it in an upcoming issue?” So we’ll definitely have to check out Gaiman’s first issue. Also, I’m really going to have egg on my face if I missed Bug saying this, but I thought he only found that Electro and Rhino were in the movie? Of course the Osborns are as well, but that’s not automatically the same as the Green Goblin.

Oh, and on the subject of Karen Gillan, the latest rumor is that she is playing Nebula…

  5. My raid was reaching the last boss during that part of the Podcast Tigger. Plus I know the guys don’t give a shit about the X-Men so I usually reserve my knowledge.

Deathlok joined the X-Continuity in UNCANNY X-FORCE. He was tending the “world” the pocket universe where Phantom X was born.

  6. Pink Apocalypse says:

You’ll have Machine Man back any time now. They cancelled my much-loved RSH.

  7. Tigger11 says:

Yeah Matt, Bug pointed out the Adrian Toomes is listed in the cast he’s being played by Colm Feore. Toomes is the actual name of the original Vulture. I saw the Karen Gillian is Nebula comments the other day, I do know now that Karen isn’t playing Angela, I was in Nashville for Neil’s book signing last night and he said she is not playing Angela, but interestingly several in the crowd took his answer as being Angela is in the movie. I can see their point, but not sure whether that was really his intention. He is a trooper, did his reading and Q&A from 6 to about 8 then was still signing when my wife and got our stuff signed at midnight. Optimous, by my comment, I meant I’m not sure why Deathlok is still hanging around the X-Men, from the side comments its been at least implied that he’s at the Jean Grey School, and I’m not sure its really been explained why he is there. Pink, sorry to hear RSH is being cancelled, I actually think that has been a pretty interesting book lately.

  8. Tigger11 says:

One other thing I meant to put in the last message, I would buy that the Norman Osborne doesn’t necessarily mean the Green Goblin, if we didnt have Gwen Stacy wearing the infamous Bridge Diving outfit in so many shots from the making of the film. What may be a saving point however is that maybe given that Sony has now greenlighted the 3rd and 4th movie, they may be reorienting the original planned trilogy to 4 movies and are moving some of the planned story and scenes from movie #2 later in series. I’m hoping that is the case, because 5 villains including at least some kind of info about them (origin, powers, etc) would really overwhelm a 2 hour movie.
