I take the time and effort and correctly guess and all I get is mad lib review?? WTF?!

    Just kidding.

A mad lib review every once in awhile might not be a bad idea.

I picked up the Mystery Men trade last week and it is, as ms. pink would say, “super neato”.

  3. JD (Host) says:

haha yeah, sorry about that! But it WAS fun to just spout off my review in 15 seconds…we SHOULD do that more often.

I got about halfway through mystery men and just stopped, not because it wasn’t good, but I guess I got bored and stopped looking for it. Had more interesting things to read….
    But you liked it?
What did you like about it?

PS, what are you doing responding to this comment thread?? GO SEE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN!! HOLY SHIT!!

    SOSOSOSO GOOD!

It was historical fiction (a favorite genre of mine) set in the early 20th century Marvel universe. What’s not to like?! I thought the artwork was terrific as well as the writing. It also brought in some supernatural elements as well. Maybe it’ll read better as a trade for you. Give it another shot, JD

Now that I think about, the book was brought to my attention via the talkbacks when the Twelve came back

p.s. I plan on seeing Spider Man in the next couple of days.
