David E Kelley’s Wonder Woman coming to NBC!

Well well well, this is a turn of events. The previously shelved Wonder Woman television series has apparently been …un…shelved? The pilot, by David E. Kelley (creator of Ally McBeal and The Practice) was shopped around to all the networks but was dismissed. NBC has gone ahead and green-lit the show after all! Though apparently she’ll be a lil different then we’re used to. Costumed vigilante/corporate executive trying to make it in LA?

Well, it’s gotta be better than The Cape.

Doesn’t it?

Who would you cast to sport the Wonder Bra?

I was never a fan of Zena Warrior Princess, but after watching SPARTACUS, I have to say, Lucy Lawless should be involved in this SOMEHOW. Even if it’s as a villain! She’s a little too old to play WW as I’m sure they’re gonna portray her though, sadly.

How about whatsername from Prison Break? Jodi Lynn O’Keefe? Well, she looks a little to severe…

    OoOOHOOHOO! Morena Baccarin, from Firefly/Serenity!

  2. Ok, first I would like to say, “WHY??????????” I was, and am currently, absolutely afraid of this happening. Not of Super Woman, but of random super hero shows popping up. I will give it a shot of course, but to say it’s WW and change the story will make me shimit (shit and vomit at the same time) in disgust. NBC has a few shows that I enjoy, but with their last blunder, The Cape, I have no faith in any delivery of a quality hero show.

I will say that if I had to choose someone to play the part of WW I would cast Tabrett Bethell. She is from the show Legends of the Seeker and she has shown both good and bad sides. She has already shown her skills in wearing a full leather outfit as well.

I haven’t seen LEGENDS OF THE SEEKER yet..though I do enjoy a good full body leather outfit. Should I check it out?

As for super-hero shows, eventually they’ll have to get it RIGHT, right?
